A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Stacey, a certified health coach who believes lasting change starts with small, intentional steps. I am passionate about helping people build healthier habits in a way that feels simple and sustainable.
This blog is my space to share encouragement and simple strategies that you can start using right away. For years, I wrote little “love notes” and tucked them into my kids’ lunches every day. It began when they were in kindergarten, and they enjoyed them so much that I kept going all the way through high school. Each note included a quote – a small spark of encouragement to carry them through the day.
The Origin Story

Now my kids are 23 and 19, and when they left for college, I discovered stacks of those notes carefully saved in their desks and drawers. That experience reminded me how powerful words can be. They stick with us, inspire us, and remind us that growth is always possible.
Those memories inspired me to create Stacey's Love Notes, where I share quotes, reflections, and simple, healthy actions you can use to care for your body, mind, and spirit.
What You Can Expect
Each post here begins with a quote - words that have the ability to shift our perspective, spark reflection, and open us to change. From there, I’ll connect the wisdom in those words to practical tools you can use to create a healthy and balanced life. My hope is that these notes feel like a gentle pause in your day.
Today's Quote
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where
you are and change the ending.”
– C.S. Lewis
Why This Matters
So many of us spend energy wishing we could rewrite our past – the choices we made, the habits we held onto, or the way we showed up. But here’s the truth:
(1) Your past does not define your future. You don’t live there anymore. From this moment forward, you can choose new habits, new behaviors, and new decisions that align with who you want to be.
(2) Your past has given you gifts. Every experience – good or bad – has shaped your perspective, growth, and resilience. Those lessons are what brought you to this point today.
You can honor your past without being trapped by it and use today to shape the ending you desire.
Actions You Can Take Today
Treat each day as a fresh start. Release yesterday’s missteps and focus on what is possible now.
End your day with a short reflection. Ask: What went well today? What can I improve tomorrow to move closer to my goals?
Reframe thoughts of regret. Instead of “I should have.....”, try “from now on….” and take one small step forward.
Final Thoughts
My sincere hope is that you leave each post with not only inspiration, but also something concrete you can try in your own daily routine. Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to walk alongside you on your journey.
